ADAPT 2024

Peer Tutoring

Peer Tutoring—based on, but distinct from

EPIC's Youth Peer & Outreachbegan in 2024 with

five-year funding from the The Joyce Family Foundation.

This project aims to broaden the impact in Nova Scotia by

spreading the time-tested and successful EPIC Youth Peer

tutor-mentoring model through partnerships with other organizations, .

EPIC supports the partner agencies with training, partial funding and, where needed and

when possible, experienced personnel at the outset of the partnership, with the hope and

expectation that the programs will continue to provide services to marginalized youth for years to come.
