Humanity Awards
Father Vincent Waterman, Patriarch Vincent the 1st of the African Orthodox Church, served the St. Philip's African Orthodox Church in Whitney Pier, Nova Scotia for 33 years. EPIC was privileged to have his presence on the Board of Directors for 13 years, from the charity's beginnings until he had to resign due to ill health. Father Waterman died at the age of 93 in January 2019.
Father Waterman often said, “There’s no race but the human race.”
